DUBUQUE SAINTS HIGH SCHOOL HOCKEY

The Dubuque Saints are a club high school hockey team playing in the Midwest High School Hockey League (MHSHL). The Saints offer Alliance, JV & Varsity level teams. For more information, please visit the website below.

It is that time of year again to start thinking about the 2026-27 high school hockey season!

Registration Deadline

Please complete registration by Sunday, July 26th.

Multi Player Households Please Read Prior to Registration - If you have multiple household members playing in DYHA you should only be charged for the DYHA Fundraising Fee once. Register your first child normally in Crossbar without applying any discounts. Then when you register your second/third/fourth player you will apply a discount code on the page where you select your program, it is a gray box at the top of the screen labeled Discount Code. If the first child you registered is playing in a House program enter code: SIBLINGHOUSE, this will apply a $150 discount to your current registration; If the first child you registered is playing in a Travel program (including Mite Red/White/Blue) enter code: SIBLINGTRAVEL, this will apply a $250 discount to your current registration.

Thursday, August 20 6:30-8:30

Tuesday, August 25 7:15-8:45

Wednesday, August 26 6:30-8:30

Fees:

Varsity/JV

In addition to the registration fee paid today, high school program fees will be approximately $5,000. These will be paid in monthly installments beginning in September, with a budget review in early January to finalize remaining payments.

Alliance

In addition to the registration fee paid today, alliance program fees will be approximately $1,000. Any remaining funds at the end of the season will be refunded to families.

Disclaimer:

If you remain within the organization but do not participate in the High School Varsity/JV program, your fees will follow you to your assigned team. Players joining from outside organizations, or those who ultimately play elsewhere, will receive a refund of the fees paid, minus the processing and tryout fees.

Step 1 - Before registering through Crossbar, you must register with USA Hockey:

Step 2 - Safe Sport Training - Please note, if you are a 2009 birth year or earlier, you will be required to take the SafeSport Core Training or Refresher Course prior to participation for the 2026-27 season.

Step 3 - Crossbar Registration - DYHA is using a new application for hosting their website, processing registrations, managing team schedules, and team communication. If you have never used Crossbar you may have to create an account. The registration button for the regular season is at the upper right hand corner of this web page or click the link below:

Initial Registration Fees:

Total Due at Registration: $500 (+ 2% Crossbar service fee, if you use credit card additional 2% fee)

• $150 DYHA fee
• $250 DYHA fundraising fee (can be recouped by selling fundraising raffle tickets; includes a cash giveaway raffle)
• $100 tryout fee (applied toward team dues if selected)



Note: DYHA fees (less processing fees) will be refunded for players not selected and who will not be in any DYHA program. If a player chooses to play in another DYHA program the fee's will be applied to that programs cost.



Team dues cover:

• All practice sessions (Mon–Thurs, 4:00–5:00 PM *subject to change)
• 16 home and 16 away league games for JV and varsity
• 4–5 overnight away games (includes transportation, hotel, and meals)
• Gatorades and healthy snacks for game days
• Jerseys and socks (jerseys remain the property of the team)
• State tournament expenses (bus, hotel, meals)

Additional Costs:

• Warm-ups/apparel (if needed) are an extra cost
• Player-owned hockey bags ($99 fee for incoming players)
• Neck guards are required and must be purchased individually

Summer Ice Opportunities

We plan to offer ice time before tryouts. Dates and times will be announced soon. There are also other summer skating opportunities available in the area.
